Lurgi Zimmer: Further PA 6 contract in China
|
Lurgi Zimmer GmbH, a company of Lurgi GmbH (Frankfurt/Germany www.lurgi.com), has contracted a Polyamide 6 plant to be built for Zhejiang Huajian Nylon Co. Ltd., China. Zhejiang Huajian is a well-known Polyamide 6 producer for textile and engineering plastics applications. With the new plant they will further increase the PA6 production capacity up to 70 kt/a. Advert This new production plant, which features the well proven two stage Zimmer® PA6 polymerisation technology, has a capacity of 100 t/d high quality chips for textile and film end use. The multi purpose facility will be located in Ruian City near Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province and will go on stream in 2009. The order value is undisclosed.
Lurgi Zimmer will provide the technology, engineering, procurement of equipment, and supervision services. This is Lurgi Zimmer’s third PA project in the last 12 months and underlines the leading position of the Zimmer® PA6 technology in the world. |
