Gammaflux: Distribution partnership with Danish toolmaking company

With effect from 1st June 2008, Gammaflux Europe GmbH (www.gammaflux.de) has signed a distribution agreement for its hot runner temperature controllers with the Danish toolmaking firm of Sønderborg Værktøjsfabrik. René Bertschi, Managing Director of Gammaflux Europe, explains the decision to take this step as follows: "Sønderborg Værktøjsfabrik and Gammaflux Europe can look back on many years of successful and trustful cooperation. With Sønderborg as our partners, we shall be able to intensify customer support and the sale and after-sales servicing of Gammaflux hot runner temperature controllers in Scandinavia. It will also mean stronger and closer presence in the Scandinavian market. Local presence will also enable us to speed up all procedures and to react quickly whenever urgent servicing or troubleshooting is required."

Sønderborg has already been importing hot runner temperature controllers from Gammaflux for many years and is thus highly experienced in the use of these high-performance controllers on hot-runner moulds, especially moulds with large numbers of cavities. Such experience is a decisive prerequisite for qualified customer support. Moreover, the distribution agreement with Gammaflux has taken Sønderborg an important step towards acquiring the status of a full system supplier – the company will in future be able to offer its customers precision injection moulds equipped with suitably fast-reacting, high-performance hot runner temperature controllers.

The Gammaflux TTC family of hot runner temperature control systems provides state-of-the-art performance for injection moulding applications up to 640 zones. The LEC controllers are suitable for smaller hot runner systems with up to 24 zones. They are available for 2, 6 or 12 zones. All controllers are of modular design, which means that individual control cards are easy to remove, add or replace.
