Menzolit Compounds: Opening of a new production plant in Jinshan/Shanghai

After over 60 years of experience in the Sheet Moulding Compound (SMC), Bulk Moulding Compound (BMC) and Continuous Impregnated Compound (CIC) production, Menzolit (www.menzolit.com) is proud to open its fifth international production facility. The opening ceremony was celebrated on September 16, 2008 in Shanghai with 120 selected guests from Asia and Europe, coming mostly from the automotive, electrical and transportation industry.

With one SMC and one BMC line in 2008, and another BMC line to come in 2009, Menzolit now started production and fulfilling orders.

Menzolit furnishes European technology as well as constant support of the Chinese team (Photo) in the context of the production of materials for domestic Chinese and other Asian market´s manufacturers, as well as for international manufacturers who are or will be in production in China in the near future.

With an investment of 3,5 Million Euro, Menzolit wants to establish a long-term industrial business and participate actively in the industrial growth of Zhong guo - “the middle kingdom”. To strengthen partnerships with existing clients who are already established in China and to create new business relations is judged highly important for the market leader.

The new plant is organised in order to be qualified ISO 9002 in the beginning of 2009. More ISO qualifications shall follow in the near future in order to assure the same quality in production, safety, environment and health management as in every site of the group.
