BKG: Eleven pelletizing systems to an Indian compounder

BKG Bruckmann & Kreyenborg GmbH (www.bkg.de) even supplies eleven lines to an Indian customer. The crucial factor for this order was the efficiency and the price of the systems.

Micro pellets, compounds and master batches
Two of the eleven turnkey lines are designed for the production of micro pellets out of polyolefins. Together with a drying system Master 100 the BKG pelletizer Compact 120 provides for a throughput capacity of 250 kg/h. In addition to the actual pelletizing system also gear pumps and screen changers of Kreyenborg are contained in the delivery range. The remaining nine lines on the basis of the BKG Master 300 series shall serve for the production of compounds and master batches on polyolefins basis. The Indian compounder will commission the pelletizing systems presumably in May.

Advantages in comparison to classic strand pelletizing systems
„The efficiency of the BKG lines in combination with the quoted price has been the crucial factor for the choice of the customer“, explains BKG projectl manager Corne Verstraten. BKG already supplied a number of Indian companies with turn-key systems for the production of compounds and master batches. Ralf Simon, managing director of BKG, describes the particularity of this delivery: „ Considering the current economic circumstances, it is not easy to place such an order at the market. However, if one succeeds, this argues for the efficiency of the own systems.” Especially with regard to the operating costs and the line availability underwater pelletizing systems present considerable advantages in comparison to classic strand pelletizing systems.
