Bekum: Group concentrates production locations in Europe

The BEKUM group (www.bekum.de) with their concentration of its production locations in Europe, meets the present declining demand for blow moulding machines, due to the negative world market development. In the future the manufacturing of blowing moulding machines for packaging applications is concentrated at BEKUMs headquarters in Berlin. Advert BEKUM Traismauer being adapted to suit the current order situation
The plant Traismauer/Austria, which manufactures blow moulding machines for the production of plactic fuel tanks and large containers, was particularly largely affected by the crisis of the automobile industry. Several orders were already cancelled months ago, so that the insolvency became inevitable. The location is resumed however in a new society ‚MFT Maschinen Fabrik Traismauer Gesellschaft m.b.H.`with reduced staff. Development, construction, process engineering, manufacturing and service remain the priority for our world-wide customers at the location. |
