Kreyenborg Group: Focus on increase of efficiency

On occasion of the Fakuma 2009 the Kreyenborg Groups (www.kreyenborg-group.de) shows with a lot of technical innovations how to essentially increase the efficiency of production with new investments and retrofitting of existing lines. These solutions are of especial interest in the current economic position, as they may be realised with low investment costs.

Being one of the technological leaders in the field of melt filtration, the KREYENBORG GmbH presents different screen changers. Owing to its considerably efficient and system pressure independent backflush the KREYENBORG V-type screen changer allows for an increased use of lower-cost recycling material. A revised insulation provides for a considerably improved energy balance with screen changers. Savings of up to 60 % are achieved by this provision. With the re-fitting of a melt pump the throughput capacity as well as the profitability of a complete extrusion line may be increased. For interested visitors to the fair, the KREYENBORG specialists have examples and analysis possibilities in store at the booth.

On the part of BKG Bruckmann & Kreyenborg Granuliertechnik GmbH one focuses on a higher automation level with underwater pelletizing systems on the one hand. These measures once again increase the already important advantages of this technology especially with regard to the line availability and low operational costs. On the other hand, the inline crystallisation process for PET CrystallCut® of BKG more and more convinces customers worldwide. With this process pelletizing and crystallizing of PET is possible in only one process step, so that considerable energy savings are realized.

At the Fakuma BSG Bruckmann Steuerungstechnik GmbH shows a simulation of its ONEconcept. Starting with the operation of a production machine, the production visualisation and –data recording up to the production management and the interfacing to existing software solutions, this system offers everything what a production facility needs today. Also here the retrofitting of an existing line is of special interest for the user.

Kreyenborg Plant Technology GmbH & Co. KG – being the latest member of the Kreyenborg Group – presents its infrared drums. With this concept drying, heating and crystallizing of bulk goods is rendered possible especially fast and energy-efficiently. The infrared radiation directly enters into the material and heats it from inside. Besides the continuous rotating drums, now also a discontinuous version for the processing of individual batches is available.

In addition Kreyenborg Plant Technology presents mixers, silos and extruder feeding systems.
