The new EPS-molding machine of Hirsch Maschinenbau GmbH & Co KG (www.hirsch-gruppe.com) will been shown first time at the K’2004. This new product line can produce both expandable polystyrene (EPS) packaging for the food, pharmaceutical and electronic industries, and shape molded parts for the automotive and construction industries. The new molding machine can be delivered in five frame sizes which are suitable for mold mounting dimensions of 1.000 mm x 800 mm up to 2.500 mm x 1.300 mm (part height up to 610 mm). The HV machine design enables unrestricted access to the mold from three sides. Devices for depositing inserts can therefore be retrofitted much more easily. Furthermore the mold-changing system ensures short set-up times. Third-party mold systems can easily be fitted on the HV. Third-party tool systems can also easily be fitted on the HV, which means that there is no need to modify existing molds. K'2004, Düsseldorf, 20.-27.10.2004, Hall 13, Stand B33 |
