Taiwan Technology: Environmentally friendly material made of plant fibers
|
The patented technology, Xylotech, is a cutting-edge technique to generate a new kind of environmentally friendly material by a wide variety of plant fibers (especially fibers from farm waste). This material has been successfully used in various products like building materials, planking, pallet, packing foam, disposable tableware, containers and many other relative products. Advert The patented technology is integrated with the technologies in three scientific fields, biopolymer, biochemistry and recycling. It utilizes a new technique of biopolymer to produce a new polymer, a thermo malleable mixtures, from the fibers of farm waste like rise husk, straws, barley stalk, sorghum shell, bagasse, wood flour, peanut shell, even reed and weed etc.
Along with the patented formula an environmental friendly adhesive and thermal press molding process, the mixtures can be shaped to a variety of products that used to be made of wood, plastic or alloy.
