Flottweg: Washing and separation of mixed plastics
 The Sorticanter (sectional drawing) from Flottweg GmbH & Co. KgaA (www.flottweg.com) is a unique solid bowl centrifuge which separates polyolefines from other plastics and waste. Furthermore the Sorticanter is suitable for sorting plastics such as ABS, PA, PP, PE, PS, PVC, as well as recycling of carpet material, cable waste etc.The technology of the Sorticanter is based on the separation of materials having different densities. The separation efficiency is up to 99.99 %. The Flottweg-Sorticanter separates the freely drainable moisture, thus the moisture content in the discharged solids is between 2 and 20%, a parameter that cannot be surpassed by mechanical drying.
