Starlinger recycling technology has been founded in 2000 as an answer to the ever increasing amount of plastic waste. With the recoSTAR machine programme Starlinger offers a comprehensive portfolio for the processing of polyolefines and technical plastics of the most different kinds and forms. The produced regranulate can be used as an economic alternative to virgin material in many applications, e.g. bottle-to-bottle, packaging film, fibres, etc. PET can be reused in high-value applications like food packaging due to optimum treatment of the material – including viscosity increase and decontamination – through the patented Starlinger iV+ technology. Since June 2004 Starlinger has received various FDA approvals (character of Non-Objection) as well as several brand owner and country approvals (Austria, Germany, France, Canada, Bolivia, Finland, among others) for their innovative technology.

In the showroom in Weissenbach, Austria (45 minutes from Vienna), all machine types are set up for running test trials with customer material. Customers can attend those tests on request to experience the easy operation and quality of Starlinger products themselves.
