Eucia finds synergy in the plastics industry
|
On 10th January 2007, the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA, www.eucia.org) represented by Volker Fritz (President), the European Association of the Unsaturated Polyester Resins Producers (Plastics Europe UPR Group) represented by Dominique Vincent (President) and the European Plastics Converters (EuPC, eupc.org) represented by Alexandre Dangis (Managing Director) agreed to form an alliance for composites based in Brussels. Each of the parties agreed to work together towards a stronger European representation of the composites industry. This alliance will fulfil 3 major tasks for the expansion of the composites industry in Europe: advocacy and influence decision making in Europe, market promotion and PR, and industry education and alignment. Anzeige Membership to Eucia is open for all composites associations in Europe. National organisation and current sectoral and market composites organisations are invited to join.
‘We have enlarged our coverage by joining the EuPC as a sector group and benefiting of their expertise in EU issues. The new group is open to all market groups in the composites world as well as raw material suppliers to support a dynamic industry continuous development’ according to Fritz. |
