UBE Corporation Europe: Acquisition of Majority Share of Compound Manufacturer Repol

UBE Corporation Europe, European consolidated subsidiary of Ube Industries, Ltd., announced that it has decided to acquire Spanish compound manufacturer Repol S.L. and has entered into an agreement for the transfer of shares. Under the agreement for the transfer of shares, UCE acquired majority of the shares of Repol at the end of March 2019. Repol operates a compounding business in Europe using polyamide 6, polyamide 66, polypropylene, polyacetal, and other resin raw materials. These products are mainly consumed in the automotive, industrial and electrical components sectors. Advert Repol S.L. is a manufacturer of thermoplastic compound resins for injection and extrusion applications with head office and plant in Almazora, Castellón province, Spain. The company was established in 1975 und has 61 employees. Managing Director is Javier Miguel.
