Trinseo: Price Increase for Polystyrene and Copolymers in Europe

Trinseo, a global materials company and manufacturer of plastics and latex binders, and its affiliate companies in Europe announced today a price increase for all polystyrene (PS), ABS and SAN grades. Effective April 1, 2022, or as existing contract terms allow, the contract and spot prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:

  • "Styron" general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by +430 Euro per metric ton
  • "Styron" and "Styron A-Tech", "Styron C-Tech" and "Styron X-Tech" high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by +430 Euro per metric ton
  • "Magnum" ABS resins by +430 Euro per metric ton
  • "Tyril" SAN resins by +430 Euro per metric ton
