Schütz: New PE drum line commissioned in Indonesia
|
Schütz has invested in a new extrusion blow moulding line at its Karawang site in Indonesia. The company is now producing its PE bung barrel F1 220 litres here using a multi-layer process. This complements Schütz's existing IBC product range. With its patented design and thanks to the use of new, highly developed plastic materials, the F1 bung barrel offers outstanding performance, according to the supplier. The packaging solution is said to impress with its high low-temperature impact strength, significantly improved stacking pressure capability and increased resistance to chemicals and stress cracking. At the same time, a special top geometry is said to provide the best possible protection for the two bungs. Advert Thanks to these properties, the drum is even suitable for demanding hazardous goods and sensitive filling products, whether in the food industry or the electrical and oleochemical industries.
