Huhtamaki: Ralf K. Wunderlich to become new President and CEO

Huhtamaki has appointed Ralf K. Wunderlich (58) as President and CEO, effective January 15, 2025. At the same time, the company's current President and CEO Charles Héaulmé will step down. The company further announced that Charles Héaulmé will be available to assist as needed through July 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.

Ralf K. Wunderlich has many years of experience in the packaging industry. From 2010 to 2016, he worked for Amcor as President and Managing Director, Flexibles, Asia Pacific and a member of the Global Management Team. Prior to that, he held the position of President and Managing Director and Executive Director in companies of the Linpac Group from 2008 to 2009. Between 1993 and 2007, Ralf held various positions at Rio Tinto Alcan, most recently as President of Alcan Packaging Global Tobacco, and held positions on the Executive Committee and in other management positions in North America, Europe and Asia. Ralf K. Wunderlich has served as a non-executive director on the boards of several listed and unlisted companies. Since 2018, he has served as a member of the Management Board of Huhtamaki.
