Cedo Recycling: Plans to phase out operations at Geleen site

Cedo Recycling BV in Geleen recently informed its employees about the intention to phase out operations at the Geleen site later this year. The company says this decision has been prompted by ongoing market challenges, rising operating costs and increasing regulatory pressure, which have affected the long-term profitability of the site. Discussions with employee representatives are expected to take place in the coming weeks, and the unions have also been informed and invited to join in the consultations. A final decision will therefore be made at a later stage. Cedo is committed to a responsible transition and to supporting employees throughout this process.
