Karl Finke: Integration into the Kafrit Group – Future Company Name "Finke Colors GmbH"

Kafrit Industries (1993) Ltd., the parent company of the internationally active Kafrit Group, recently announced the integration of Karl Finke GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Wuppertal. The company, which specializes in color masterbatches and liquid colors, will operate in the future under the name "Finke Colors GmbH".

With this merger, the Kafrit Group is expanding its product portfolio in the field of polymer solutions to include specialty colors and additive concentrates. The goal is to further strengthen the market position, particularly in the cosmetics and medical sectors. The acquisition is part of a strategic growth initiative to bolster the global service and technology offerings in plastics processing.

The management of the company remains with Felix Finke, who will continue to serve as Managing Director and coordinate the integration into the Kafrit Group. The operational independence at the Wuppertal location is to be maintained. Shared corporate values such as a focus on quality, a sense of responsibility, and partnership-based action will continue to form the foundation of the business operations.

The Kafrit Group employs approximately 800 people worldwide across nine affiliated companies and recently achieved an annual turnover of about $350 million US dollars. The company produces color and additive masterbatches, liquid colors, and technical compounds for various plastics processing methods.

The former Karl Finke GmbH & Co. KG is considered one of the leading European suppliers of pigment preparations for the plastics industry. The company employs around 130 people and generates an annual turnover of about €33 million euros. Products are distributed worldwide.
