Fakuma 2026: Anniversary Edition Reports Strong Demand and Largely Fully Booked Exhibition Space

The 30th Fakuma, the international trade fair for plastics processing, will take place from 12 to 16 October 2026 in Friedrichshafen. According to organiser P. E. Schall, demand is already high almost a year before the event, with most exhibition space reportedly booked.

As one of the leading platforms for the plastics industry, Fakuma showcases a broad range of technologies, including injection moulding, extrusion, thermoforming, automation, additive manufacturing, and recycling. The fair is known for its practice-oriented exchange between manufacturers, users, and technology providers. Industry representatives emphasise Fakuma’s importance as a working trade fair that focuses on direct dialogue and practical industrial relevance.

The anniversary edition continues the trend of previous years, when around 1,700 exhibitors participated in each event. A supporting programme featuring technical presentations, panel discussions, and a dedicated career day will accompany the five-day fair. Fakuma 2026 aims to once again provide a comprehensive overview of current trends, technologies, and market requirements in plastics processing.
