Autoneum: Acquisition of Chengdu Yiqi-Sihuan Automobile Interior Co., Ltd. completed

Autoneum has successfully completed the acquisition of Chengdu Yiqi-Sihuan Automobile Interior Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese provider of acoustic and thermal management solutions for the automotive industry. With this strategic transaction, Autoneum aims to strengthen its presence in the world's largest automotive market.

The transaction, originally announced in May 2025 as the acquisition of Chengdu FAW-Sihuan Group, comprises all shares in Chengdu Yiqi-Sihuan. In the course of the process, the company name was adjusted to correctly reflect the scope of the transaction. Following the recent integration of the Jiangsu Huanyu Group, this is a further step towards implementing Autoneum's "Level Up" strategy. The goal is to generate 20 percent of Group sales in Asia in the medium term.

Chengdu Yiqi-Sihuan was founded in 2011, currently operates four production sites in China and employs around 240 people. Its customers include well-known Chinese automobile manufacturers such as FAW-VW, FAW-Audi, FAW-Toyota, and Geely. In 2024, the company generated sales of around 27 million Swiss francs (around 29 million euros).

Autoneum intends to continue operating the business units of Chengdu Yiqi-Sihuan under their existing Chinese names while fully integrating them into the Business Group Asia.
