The Italian granulator manufacturer CMG Granulators has expanded its headquarters in Cento di Budrio, near Bologna, by an additional 800 square meters. The newly created space has been allocated to the logistics department. The aim is to improve the efficiency of internal processes as well as to relieve and expand the existing production areas. Through this reorganization, production capacity and delivery times are to be further optimized. In addition to the expansion of production and logistics, CMG operates a technology center of around 1,000 square meters at the site. It is designed for grinding trials and technical support and includes a test area with granulators and shredders of various sizes and performance levels. Different types of materials can be processed there. The center is complemented by training rooms equipped with the necessary technical facilities. Customers have the opportunity to test machines in practical operation and to assess the processing and recyclability of their materials. They are supported by the company’s technical team during these trials. Alternatively, CMG also offers grinding tests without personal attendance: materials can be sent in and tested at the company’s premises. After completion, customers receive their material along with a technical report as well as photo and video documentation. CMG’s site covers a total area of 16,000 square meters, of which 8,000 square meters are covered. In addition to its headquarters, production facilities, and technology center in Italy, the company operates a worldwide sales and service network with local service, spare parts, and sales locations.
