HB-Therm: Arburg takes over distribution in Spain

HB-Therm is expanding its distribution structure in Europe: Since 1 January 2026, Arburg has been representing the products of the Swiss temperature control specialist in Spain in addition to Portugal. The aim is to expand HB-Therm’s market presence in the Spanish market.

Arburg serves the market through its Spanish subsidiary in Arganda del Rey near Madrid as well as another location in Montcada i Reixach near Barcelona. The portfolio offered includes the "Thermo-6" temperature control units as well as the "Flow-6" flow meters and controllers. In combination with the "Gate-6" interface server, the systems can be integrated into digital production environments.

The cooperation between the two companies has already existed for several years. Arburg has represented HB-Therm in Portugal since the beginning of 2024 and also carries out this role in several Asian markets, including China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Technologically, HB-Therm’s temperature control units and Arburg’s injection moulding machines can be networked via the "OPC UA interface", enabling data exchange in production. In addition, special variants of the "Thermo-6" units tailored to Arburg are available, which can be integrated into the "arburgXworld" customer portal.
