Busslist Group: Buss AG, List Technology AG and BBA Innova AG unite under a shared group structure

Buss AG, List Technology AG and BBA Innova AG will now operate under the shared group name “Busslist Group.” In doing so, the three Switzerland-based companies are combining their activities under a common management structure and strategic direction. Their established technology brands and existing customer relationships will remain in place.

With this merger, “Busslist Group” brings together three complementary process technologies. These include the “List KneaderReactor” for the continuous processing of highly viscous materials as well as for reactions, degassing, drying, crystallization, desublimation and dissolution; the “Buss Ko-Kneader” for the continuous compounding of temperature- and shear-sensitive materials; and “BBA Cooling Technology” for the solidification, size reduction and finishing of viscous materials.

The three technologies cover key and adjacent process steps in the chemical, polymer, fiber, food, pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. The group is part of the Process Solutions division of Jakob Müller Holding AG.

According to the company, the merger is based on a shared technological foundation and many years of process expertise gained from numerous realized production plants in demanding industrial applications. The group positions itself as a provider of process technology along the path from feasibility testing to industrial-scale production.

According to the company, the installed base includes more than 3,500 “Buss Ko-Kneader” systems. In addition, there is a broad installed base of the “List KneaderReactor” in specialty chemicals as well as in fiber and food applications, and “BBA Cooling” systems in powder coating, pharmaceutical and life sciences production. In the company’s view, “Busslist Group” therefore combines established technologies with extensive application expertise.

Existing business relationships will continue to be handled through the previous legal entities. Legal consolidation is expected to be completed in the coming months. Affected customers and partners will be informed directly.

Dr. Philip Nising, CEO of “Busslist Group,” described the merger as the coming together of three companies with a shared technological focus and the aim of supporting customers across broader parts of the production chain in the future. Karsten Güdemann, COO of “Busslist Group,” pointed to the integration of “List” expertise in highly viscous, solvent-free and precision-critical processes into a broader technological context. Stephan Bühler, owner of Jakob Müller Holding AG, described the new group as an expression of long-term industrial policy and investment in technology leadership.
