DK Kunststoff-Service: Distribution Partnership with the Radici Group

DK Kunststoff-Service, based in Bielefeld, Germany, and RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers are expanding their cooperation through a long-term distribution agreement. The arrangement follows a collaboration launched last year, during which DK Kunststoff-Service introduced the Italian manufacturer's portfolio to the German market.

The partnership expands DK Kunststoff-Service's offering to include engineering and high-temperature polymer solutions. These include "Radilon" polyamide compounds for injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding; "Renycle" polymers with a reduced environmental impact; bio-based "Bionside" polyamides; flame-retardant "Radiflam" compounds; glass-fiber-reinforced "Radistrong" polyamide compounds; and "Raditer" polyester compounds for applications requiring low water absorption, particularly in the electrical and electronics industry.

According to the companies, numerous customer sampling projects have already been completed during the first phase of the collaboration. One focus area was the use of "Radistrong" products as material solutions for metal replacement applications. RadiciGroup's backward integration is also expected to contribute to supply security.

DK Kunststoff-Service views the high-performance polymers as a complement to its portfolio of engineering plastics with standard approvals. Through the agreement, RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers strengthens the distribution of its engineering polymer solutions via an engineering and sales partner that provides application-oriented materials consulting.
