Lindner Washtech and Srichakra Polyplast have entered into a partnership to expand high-quality plastic recycling capacities in India. As part of a greenfield project, Lindner Washtech will supply two washing lines for processing post-consumer recyclates from films and rigid plastics. With this investment, Srichakra Polyplast aims to expand its production capacities for high-quality recyclates. According to the company, it operates India’s first food-grade rPET recycling facility and is among the larger producers of food-grade rPET and rHDPE materials in the region. These recyclates are used in applications across the beverage, FMCG, and consumer goods industries. The new washing lines are designed to support the processing of post-consumer packaging waste into premium-quality recyclates. According to Srichakra Polyplast, key factors in selecting Lindner Washtech included not only its technology and process expertise but also the local presence of the Lindner India team. This includes support with project implementation, technical assistance, and after-sales service. Through this partnership, both companies aim to increase the availability of high-quality plastic recyclates in India and across the Asian market. Lindner Washtech will support Srichakra Polyplast as a long-term technology partner throughout the project lifecycle. More information: www.lindner-washtech.com, www.srichakra.in |
