Huhtamaki: Thomas Morin to Lead Fiber Packaging Business Segment

Huhtamaki has appointed Thomas Morin as President of its Fiber Packaging business segment and a member of the Global Executive Team, effective September 1, 2026. He will report to President and CEO Ralf K. Wunderlich and will be based in Espoo, Finland. Morin succeeds Sara Engber, who was appointed President of the North America region in March 2026.

Morin joins Huhtamaki from TC Transcontinental, where he most recently served as CEO after leading the company's Packaging Division since 2019. He brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience in the packaging industry. During his career, he has held positions at TC Transcontinental, Amcor, Alcan, and Pechiney, working across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East and Africa.

According to Huhtamaki, Morin will be responsible for advancing the strategic development of the Fiber Packaging business segment and driving its profitable growth through both organic expansion and acquisitions.

With the appointment of Thomas Morin, Huhtamaki's Global Executive Team will consist of the following members as of September 1, 2026: Ralf K. Wunderlich (President and CEO), Fredrik Davidsson (Foodservice Packaging), Sara Engber (North America), Thomas Geust (Finance), Axel Glade (Flexible Packaging), Katariina Kravi (People, Safety and Communications), Thomas Morin (Fiber Packaging), Riikka Tieaho (Sustainability, Corporate Affairs and Legal), and Changsheng Wu (Procurement).
