Sikora GmbH has implemented a leadership transition effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Christian Frank has handed over operational responsibility as CEO to Alaaddin Aydin. With this succession plan, which was prepared well in advance, the Bremen-based company aims to ensure continuity in its leadership and initiate the next phase of its development.

Dr. Christian Frank will remain a member of the management board and will focus on the company's strategic development. His responsibilities will include supporting the leadership transition as well as evaluating and implementing potential acquisitions and other growth initiatives.

As CEO, Alaaddin Aydin assumes responsibility for the Research & Development, Operations, and Finance functions previously overseen by Frank. Holger Lieder will continue to be responsible for Sales, Service, Marketing, and Internal Services.

Alongside his new role as CEO of Sikora, Alaaddin Aydin will remain Vice President of MAAG Germany. This dual role is intended to leverage strategic synergies between the two companies. Operational management of MAAG Germany will be assumed by Thorsten Thuemen as Managing Director, also effective July 1, 2026.

The leadership transition has been designed as a long-term process. Following a joint transition period, Dr. Christian Frank will leave the company at the end of 2027 at his own request to pursue new entrepreneurial opportunities outside the corporate group.

At the same time, Sikora is continuing its growth strategy. The company is investing in a new facility to expand its logistics and office space, strengthening its research and development activities, and actively evaluating acquisition opportunities to complement its portfolio. Through these measures, the manufacturer of measurement, control, and inspection systems aims to enhance its innovative capabilities and create the foundation for continued sustainable growth.
