Werit Strengthens Dutch Market Presence with Acquisition of Rezi Sanitair Nederland Business

Plastics specialist takes over business activities of long-standing Dutch partner effective 1 October 2026 and expands its customer base in the sanitary and building technology sector.

Werit Kunststoffwerke W. Schneider GmbH & Co. KG is strengthening its presence in the Netherlands by taking over the business activities of Rezi Sanitair Nederland BV, based in Valkenswaard, effective 1 October 2026. The move follows the retirement of Werit’s long-standing Dutch partner and ensures continuity for existing customers in the market.

Rezi Sanitair has been active in the Dutch sanitary sector for decades. The company has its roots in Philips Sanitair, founded in 1940, and has operated under the Rezi Sanitair name since 1997. Its portfolio includes toilet cisterns, pre-wall installation systems, flush plates and toilet seats for residential and commercial construction, as well as renovation and maintenance projects. The products are distributed through specialist sanitary wholesalers.

Expanding Werit’s Benelux Activities
Werit and Rezi Sanitair have worked closely together for many years. With the acquisition of Rezi Sanitair’s business activities, Werit is integrating additional customer relationships into its own sales organisation and further expanding its position in the Dutch market.

The Netherlands is already served through Werit’s Building Technology division. In future, customers in the market will increasingly be supported directly by Werit’s own sales organisation.

Building Technology as a Core Part of Werit’s Portfolio
Werit’s Building Technology division develops and manufactures solutions for sanitary applications as well as water and tank systems. The acquisition therefore complements the company’s existing Benelux activities and broadens its customer base in the Dutch sanitary market.

Werit is a family-owned plastics processing company headquartered in Altenkirchen, Germany. Founded in 1949, the company operates ten production sites across Europe and manufactures plastic solutions for packaging, reconditioning and building technology. Werit employs around 500 people.
