Hasco expands cable and adapter range for mould tester

Hasco Hasenclever GmbH expanded the accessory range for its "H1210/..." mould tester at Fakuma 2026, adding new cable and adapter solutions for a wider variety of connector systems and wiring configurations in hot runner moulds.

The new "H1211/...", "H12110/..." and "H1213/..." product groups are designed to simplify the connection of different mould configurations to the tester, particularly for servicing, commissioning and fault diagnosis.

More cable options for mixed wiring systems
Hasco has added 6- and 10-pin versions to its "H1211/..." cable range. Used together with the "H1229/...", "H12290/..." and "H12292/..." connector inserts, the cables are intended for conventional mixed wiring configurations in hot runner systems.

They provide a standard connection between the "H1210/..." mould tester and moulds with different connector and wiring arrangements, helping to reduce the need for application-specific cabling.

Support for slim industrial connectors
The new "H12110/..." series is aimed at more compact connector systems. It is designed for slim 10- and 16-pin industrial connectors and matched to the "H12291/..." connector insert.

This extends the use of the test system to moulds equipped with space-saving connector configurations.

Adapters for separate thermocouple and power connections
Hasco has also introduced the "H1213/..." series for moulds in which thermocouple and power cables are routed separately. The cables function as adapters between different connection concepts while providing the interface to the "H1210/..." mould tester.

Depending on the version, both male and female connector inserts can be tested.

Two variants are available. Type 1 is designed for connections in accordance with "Euromap 14" and combines a slim connector for the thermocouple circuits with a wide industrial connector for power transmission. Type 2 is intended for moulds using wide industrial connectors throughout and supports testing of both male and female inserts.

Modular approach to different connection concepts
With the expanded portfolio, Hasco is organising the mould tester interface around connector type and wiring concept. The modular cable and adapter system is intended to cover both standard and special applications with a limited number of defined connection solutions.

For maintenance, commissioning and diagnostics of hot runner systems, the expanded range therefore provides greater flexibility when dealing with different mould and connector configurations.
