Sesotec: Swedish Subsidiary to Become Sesotec AB

Swedish company Mobergs Produktkontroll AB will be renamed Sesotec AB effective November 2, 2026, and will operate under the "Sesotec" brand in the future. With this move, the Sesotec Group is standardizing the market presence of its Swedish subsidiary across the Nordic and Baltic countries.

The move follows more than 35 years of sales and service cooperation between the two companies. Since Mobergs Produktkontroll AB joined the Sesotec Group in 2024, technical expertise, resources and regional market knowledge have been gradually integrated (see also plasticker news from September 11, 2024). The name change represents a further step in making this integration visible externally.

Existing Customer Support to Remain Unchanged
Existing contacts, local customer support and service offerings will remain unchanged for customers and partners. Fredrik Moberg will continue to lead the Swedish company as Managing Director. Closer integration into the Group is expected to give the company greater access to its product portfolio as well as its development and service capabilities.

The product range includes technologies for foreign object detection, material sorting and material analysis. These systems are used in various industries, including plastics processing, recycling and food production. The name change therefore primarily affects the regional sales and service organization serving these industries.

Gradual Transition Starting in November
From November 2, 2026, the company's visual identity, communication materials and channels, as well as its digital presence, will gradually be transitioned to the "Sesotec" brand.

Sesotec GmbH, headquartered in Schönberg, Germany, has been developing and manufacturing inspection and sorting systems since 1976. According to the company, the Group has a presence in 17 countries outside Germany and is represented internationally by more than 60 partners.
