Wittmann Battenfeld: Group represented by Mouldplas in South Africa

Since March 2012, Mouldplas Marketing based in Randburg now represents the entire product portfolio of the Wittmann group in South Africa, including injection molding machines for the plastics industry plus automation and the complete range of peripheral equipment, announced Wittmann.

Mouldplas Marketing was established by Bryan Webb in 2009 to supply the South African plastics packaging industry. The company offers its customers complete solutions from individual machines to turnkey production lines. With highly qualified technical staff from the plastics industry, Mouldplas is in an excellent position to provide the necessary customer support and maintenance services.

Among other activities, Mouldplas is the preferred supplier of the Astra Pak group for a range of processing equipment, where it has an exclusive contract with selected international suppliers over the next 3 years. With the agency for the product range of the Wittmann group, Mouldplas intends to expand its business in the injection molding sector and aims to become the market leader in the area of machinery and service within the next 3 years. Today, the company employs 18 people. It plans to hire additional staff, primarily technicians.
