Additive manufacturing, 3D printing of technical plastic parts

A Dutch research institute developed a 3D printing technology capable of producing technical plastic parts directly from 3D CAD data. The technology focusses on (serial) manufacturing of functional parts with good mechanical properties, high resolution and customized blends.
