Brückner: Looking Forward to Expansion in Bulgaria

Bulgaria’s leading OPP film manufacturer, Plastchim-T, is expanding its film production with a second BOPP line. Due to the perfect and smooth cooperation they experienced working together with Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG (www.brueckner.com) on their first BOPP project, Plastchim-T naturally chose Brückner Maschinenbau to once again be their partner for this new project.

The new line is equipped with state-of-the-art-technology and has an annual output of approx. 20,000 tons. Thus, Plastchim-T is able to strengthen its position as Bulgaria’s No. 1 and as one of the leading film producers in Eastern Europe.

As Aidan Faik, Plaschim-T`s owner, put it: “The additional production capacity will enable us to satisfy Bulgaria’s growing demand for high quality BOPP film for the next years. Beside this, it will help us to develop other emerging markets in Europe. These goals we will reach with the support of our long-term partner Brückner. Their help is vital for our company’s growth strategy.”
