A Dutch research institute developed a polymer electrolyte that can be used for making fuel cells. The polymer is more cost-effective than the electrolyte currently used and also offers a higher operable temperature. Other applications are electrical batteries, super capacitors, electrochromic windows and solar cells. The institute is seeking contacts with industrial partners active in the development of electrochemical devices that are interested in a licence agreement.
