EMS increases PPA capacity in Europe
|
EMS-GRIVORY, a business unit of EMS-CHEMIE AG, will increase its production capacity for Grivory HT high-performance polyamide, a polyamide bringing top performance at high temperatures. EMS-GRIVORY will further increase its capacity by constructing an additional Grivory HT manufacturing plant in Europe. Start-up of the new plant is planned for the end of 2010. This investment will allow EMS-GRIVORY to further underline its position as market leader. Advert Grivory HT belongs to the family of polyphthalamide (PPA) materials - the engineering polymer displaying the most rapid growth, with double-digit growth figures. Grivory HT is characterised by its high-performance property profile. Technical injection-moulded parts made of this material impress with their very high strength, stiffness, toughness and dimensional stability, even at high temperatures, and under moist conditions or when exposed to aggressive media.
