Dow Europe announces price increase for polyethylene resins
|
Given the improved demand for Dow polyethylene resins and the continuous high prices of raw material and energy costs, Dow Europe GmbH is announcing a price increase across the European region for all polyethylene resins. This price increase is in line with the price increase announced for the month of April 2005, which was not sufficient. Effective May 1, Dow Europe will increase prices by 70 Euro per metric ton for all grades of its low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resins and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins, DOWLEX™ polyethylene resins, ATTANE™ ultra low density polyethylene (ULDPE) copolymers, ELITE™ enhanced polyethylene resins and ASPUN™ fiber grade resins.
