Ecological porous pipes for irrigation systems using rubber waste

A Polish research institute has developed a new type of porous pipes (hoses) that allows controlled release of water, to be used in irrigation systems. The pipes are made of recycled raw materials: polyolefins and vulcanised rubber waste from tyres. Developed solution is an ecological and money-saving irrigation and fertigation system that can be used in agriculture as well as in maintenance of recreation areas.
