Great Lakes announces price increase for a range of polymer stabilizers

Great Lakes Chemical Corporation (www.pa.greatlakes.com) announced it will increase prices worldwide for a range of its polymer stabilizers, effective for shipments after January 1, 2005, or where contracts allow. Prices will increase for Great Lakes polymer stabilizer product groups as follows: Advert • Anox® and Alkanox® main antioxidants – up to 15%
• Anox®, Alkanox® and Lowinox® specialty antioxidants – up to 11% • Lowilite® hindered amine light stabilizers – up to 7% • Lowilite® benzophenone UV absorbers – up to 6% The company stated that the new pricing is driven by continued increases in raw material, energy, and transportation costs. |
