A Slovenian research institute has developed a method providing three-dimensional and thin film morphologies of fluoro-polymer nanocomposites which reduce the friction coefficient of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) or PVDF-based coatings by 70%. The researchers are looking for license and/or technical cooperation agreements with producers of PVDF as well as producers of self-lubricative coatings.
