Polymer nanocomposites with high thermal, mechanical and electrical performance for structural applications in aeronautical and aerospace engineering

A Spanish research institute has developed a polymer nanocomposite with excellent filler dispersion and filler-matrix interface adhesion. The matrix is poly (ether ether ketone) (PEEK) or polymers with similar structure. The filler is carbon nanomaterial covalently grafted to a polymer derived from the matrix. These materials are suitable for aerospace or aeronautical applications. Industrial Partners interested in a license agreement for the exploitation of this technology are sought.
