Automotive and electronics supplier Inovan has completed the modernization of its production site in Zliv, Czech Republic. The company officially inaugurated the upgraded facility in early October 2026. The plant, operated by subsidiary Inovan CZ near České Budějovice, had been refurbished in several phases since summer 2025. Construction was completed in August 2026, with most of the work carried out while production continued. The project included new facilities for toolmaking and grinding, as well as additional metrology, administrative and staff areas. Inovan also upgraded key technical infrastructure, including heating, ventilation and compressed-air systems, together with lighting and fire protection. According to the company, the investment is intended to improve production processes and provide additional capacity for future manufacturing projects. The Zliv site specializes in electromechanical components and connectors for automotive and industrial electrical applications. Its production capabilities include stamping, electroplating, automated assembly, plastics processing and injection molding. The plant operates injection molding machines with clamping forces of 50 to 110 tonnes. Materials processed include polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), polyamides PA6 and PA66, polyoxymethylene (POM), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Inovan, part of the Prym Group, has operated the Zliv site since 1996. The modernization is designed to strengthen the facility’s long-term role in the production of advanced connection and contact technology. More information: www.inovan.com, www.prym-group.com |
