LANXESS to increase prices for its Baypren (CR) products
|
The Technical Rubber Products (TRP) business unit of specialty chemicals group LANXESS announces a price increase for its Baypren branded Chloroprene business – depending on region – for up to € 400/mt (or US$ 500/mt). Advert Reason being the continued high level of feedstock and energy prices as well as increase of other costs, says the company.
Subject to the terms of any applicable contracts and regulations, price increases to take effect as of 1st of January 2011. CR, which LANXESS offers under the name Baypren, is appropriate to produce e.g. cable sheathings, hoses, belts and air springs. More information: lanxess.com |
