LANXESS: Price adjustment for Lustran, Novodur and Triax
|
LANXESS (www.lanxess.com) has increased the prices of its Lustran (ABS), Novodur (ABS) and Triax (ABS/PA) products by EUR 150 per metric ton. According to Wolfgang Döring, head of Marketing & Sales Europe and Latin America in the Lustran Polymers business unit, this adjustment, which comes into effect in Europe on June 18 this year, was the inevitable result of increases in the cost of raw materials, energy and transport. The Lustran Polymers business unit belongs to the Engineering Plastics business unit, which achieved total sales in fiscal 2006 of EUR 1,708 billion. |
