Using Bioplastics to make Optical Components
|
A large US company is looking for proposals for plastics made from sustainable sources of biomass for use as opaque reflectors or clear optical lenses. Optimally, the manufacturing and optical properties of bioplastics should be the same as currently used petroleum-based plastics.They are interested in licensing, joint development, product acquisition, contract research, proof of concept leading to scale up to manufacturing.
