Nolato: Plastics Processor Acquires M&M Qualtech

Swedish plastics processor Nolato is strengthening its electronics segment with the acquisition of industry peer M&M Qualtech.

In a press release issued recently, Nolato announced that it had signed an agreement to acquire the company. However, the statement did not disclose the financial terms or any further details of the transaction.

M&M Qualtech manufactures electronic components for the medical technology, automotive, IT and defence sectors. The company is headquartered in Galway on Ireland’s west coast and employs around 200 people. According to Nolato, M&M Qualtech expects to generate sales of approximately EUR 35 million in the current financial year. Following completion of the acquisition, the company will operate under the name Nolato Qualtech and will initially continue to be managed by its existing management team.

With the acquisition of M&M Qualtech, Nolato is strengthening its offering and its ability to provide a broader customer base with comprehensive, one-stop product solutions.”

Nolato develops and manufactures plastic products for the medical and pharmaceutical industries, the household appliance sector, telecommunications, automotive and other industries. Headquartered in Torekov in southern Sweden, the group comprises numerous subsidiaries with operations in Sweden, the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Romania, the US, Mexico, India, China and Malaysia. For the 2025 financial year, Nasdaq Stockholm-listed Nolato reported EBITDA of SEK 1.591 billion (EUR 145 million) and net profit of SEK 777 million (EUR 71 million) on sales of SEK 9.462 billion (EUR 859 million).
