Dr. Boy appoints Stefan Klöckner as additional Managing Director

Dr. Boy GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its management team with the appointment of Stefan Klöckner as an additional Managing Director, effective April 1, 2026. He now shares responsibility for the company’s management with Managing Partner Alfred Schiffer.

Klöckner joined Boy on January 1, 2023. In his previous roles as Head of Administration and authorized signatory, he was closely involved in key commercial and organizational functions as well as in the company’s overall management. His appointment as Managing Director therefore represents a continuation of Boy’s existing management structure and ensures continuity at executive level.

Alfred Schiffer will continue in his position as Managing Partner. Going forward, Schiffer and Klöckner will jointly oversee the company’s operations and strategic development.

Headquartered in Neustadt-Fernthal, Germany, Boy develops and manufactures injection molding machines for plastics processing. Founded in 1968, the company offers horizontal and vertical injection molding machines as well as auxiliary injection units, with a current clamping force range of up to 1,250 kN.

Boy’s technology portfolio focuses on compact machine concepts, energy-efficient drive systems, automation and digitalization. According to the company, more than 55,000 injection molding machines have been delivered worldwide since its foundation.
