BASF: Price increase for neopentyl glycol in Europe
|
With immediate effect, or as far as existing contractual agreements permit, BASF is increasing its selling prices for neopentyl glycol in Europe by EUR 350/MT. Advert Neopentyl glycol (“Neol”) is an intermediate used, for example, in the production of polyester resins for coatings, unsaturated polyester resins, lubricants and plasticizers. It is also used in the manufacture of alkyd resins, synthetic fibers, polyurethanes and additives.
