Technology for production of dispersion-reinforced Al-matrix composite materials

A research team from Ulyanovsk, Russia, proposes a method for production of cast dispersion-reinforced composites. These materials have a good friction behavior, due to the combination of a high-strength reinforcing component and a plastic matrix based on aluminum alloy.
