Polyram: Majority Stake in Italian Compounder Lapo Compounds

Polyram Plastic Industries Ltd. has acquired a 51 percent stake in the Italian plastic compounder Lapo Compounds. The company operates production sites in Naples (Italy) and in Morocco and manufactures lightweight-oriented technical thermoplastic compounds based on polypropylene, including materials with recycled content. The products are used in the automotive, electronics, and infrastructure industries.

With the majority acquisition, Polyram expands its product portfolio and strengthens its presence in Italy, Eastern Europe, and North Africa. Lapo's technological competencies are expected to open up additional growth opportunities and improve regional market coverage.
