EMS Group: Improved Results in 2025

The EMS Group increased its sales and earnings in the 2025 fiscal year compared to the previous year. According to the reported figures, net sales amounted to CHF 1.95 billion (previous year: CHF 2.07 billion), while the operating income (EBIT) reached CHF 567 million (CHF 539 million). Currency effects had a noticeable impact on sales development in Swiss francs.

Despite the tense global economic situation, the company reportedly succeeded in once again increasing sales volumes, EBIT, and net income. EMS attributes this success to a consistently implemented growth strategy focused on high-margin specialties, a worldwide sales offensive, and profitable new business. Business in Asia developed particularly positively.

EBITDA rose by 5.2% in 2025 to CHF 622 million (CHF 592 million). The EBIT margin increased to 29.1% (26.0%), and the EBITDA margin to 31.9% (28.6%). Net income amounted to CHF 467 million (CHF 461 million), with earnings per share at CHF 19.95 (CHF 19.70).

Cash flow rose to CHF 534 million (CHF 480 million). At the end of the year, EMS held liquid assets of CHF 603 million (CHF 518 million), maintained an equity ratio of 83.3% (82.4%), and was debt-free. Against this backdrop, the Board of Directors intends to propose an ordinary dividend of CHF 14.65 and an extraordinary dividend of CHF 3.75 per share for 2025 at the Annual General Meeting.

For 2026, EMS continues to expect a challenging and geopolitically uncertain environment. Trade conflicts, regulatory interventions, and currency influences are likely to weigh on global economic development. From a company perspective, EMS expects net sales to be lower than the previous year due to currency effects, but anticipates a slightly higher operating income (EBIT).
