Mocom appoints Dirk Sadowski as CEO

Dirk Sadowski has taken over as CEO of Mocom Compounds GmbH & Co. KG with effect from September 1, 2026. He succeeds Jens Kaatze, who had headed the company since May 2023 and is leaving Mocom by mutual agreement.

Sadowski has been a member of Mocom’s management team since September 2020, most recently serving as Co-Managing Director and CFO. His appointment ensures continuity at the top of the compounds producer. According to the company, his key priorities will include further operational development and the implementation of transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Mocom, Sadowski worked for Horváth & Partners, where he headed the Organization & Operations Chemical & Oil Industries business segment. His previous roles at Mocom have given him several years of experience in corporate management as well as extensive knowledge of the company’s markets and customer base.

Mocom is part of the Hamburg-based Otto Krahn Group. The internationally active group also includes plastics distributor Albis, the Krahn Chemie Group, Krahn Ceramics and Otto Krahn New Business. According to the group, it employs around 1,700 people at 46 locations and generated sales of approximately €1.3 billion in 2024.
